Looking for a fun and educational activity for the little ones? The Happy Moose Adventure Trail (Eventyrstien til Elgåsen) is a perfect experience path specifically designed for families with children aged 3-11 years. This wonderful nature trail is located in the beautiful Telemark nature, just east of Nakksjø Station, and is a free offering that invites play, learning, and enjoyment of the outdoors.
The Happy Moose Adventure Trail is located near the historical timber route near Nakksjø.
The Adventure Trail is 500 meters long and offers a varied walk through pine forest, alongside streams, and across marshland (the historical timber route).
The trail was built in 2020 by the Australian exchange student Daniel Lawrence, who wanted to share his fascination for the authentic Telemark nature through a family-friendly offering.
We encourage all visitors to practice responsible travel to preserve the natural environment and respect the ecosystem:
By being responsible, you contribute to maintaining the beauty and sustainability of The Happy Moose Adventure Trail for future generations.
