The rule for "trackless traffic" is about leaving nature as beautiful as it was when we arrived. The "Allemannsretten" (Norwegian law of public access to the countryside) gives us many rights, but it also includes some responsibilities. One of these responsibilities is to take care of nature and not leave any traces behind. Be considerate of nature, animals, and each other.
Rules for visiting an island:

- Camping is allowed for up to 2 nights in the same place and at least 150 meters away from inhabited houses or cabins.
- Remember to keep dogs on a leash from April 1st to August 20th. Be considerate of the wildlife on the islands.
- It is not allowed to walk over cultivated land from April 30th to October 14th.
- Plants, mushrooms, berries, and herbs that are not protected may be picked for personal use
