"Kulturrunden" cultural round trip is a 15 kilometer bicycling round trip that starts at Villmarkseventyret motorhome parking and follows the floating watercourse along the Sætre river and the old rallarvegen- way which was made in connection with the construction of the Southern Norway railway "Sørlandsbanen" between Lunde and Drangedal in 1922 - 1927.
The trip takes place in slightly hilly terrain and passes a number of interesting cultural monuments such as floating ponds, log cabins, crushing plants and homesteads.
The cycle route partly follows the established cycle route "Motbakken" and can be extended / shortened in different directions according to your own tast.
The trip can e.g. extended a few kilometers to experience the adventure trail (activity trail for children aged 3-11 years), Høidalsfurua (Telemark's largest pine tree) or a wreck from World War II.
The trip goes along low-traffic gravel roads with the exception of the last 2 kilometers that follow the low-traffic county road 3310.
