Telemark is the ideal place for combining nature with fun activities, either you put on hiking boots, step on the bicycle or enter the kayak for excursions on the coast. Telemark is perfect for bicycling along the coast, along the Telemark Canal and the Hardanger mountain plateau. National cycle route no. 1 goes along the coast and no. 2 goes along the Telemark Canal from Ulefoss to Dalen.
Try fishing in one of the many mountain lakes. Don’t forget to pack Norwegian chocolate and hot coffee in your backpack.
