The wilderness adventure by the Telemark Canal - motorhome parking «Motorhome parking with space guarantee - Always space, no advance booking required» Only DKK 100 per day.
About the place
The wilderness adventure at the Telemark Canal motorhome parking is a self-service motorhome parking in forest terrain along county road 3310 between Lunde and Drangedal only 12 kilometers from The Telemark Canal and Kjeldal lock.
Location
The car park is located in beautiful Telemark nature and is a safe and adapted car park in sunny, quiet surroundings. The area offers a large selection of hiking trails, bike paths, cultural monuments and swimming opportunities right outside the motorhome.
After sunset, on cloudless evenings you can observe a starry sky free of light pollution.
Parking
The 32 motorhome pitches are located along the idyllic and historic floating watercourse by the Sætre river. 16 of the spaces are located near the county road, while the other 16 spaces are located at smaller parking spaces along the watercourse with space for 1-3 motorhomes.
Currently, there is no water, electricity or sanitation facilities on the site, but this will be in place during summer of 2021.
Cultural monuments
The area is rich in cultural monuments and cultural history with i.a. abandoned farms, floating dams and wreckage from World War II.
Place guarantee
The wilderness adventure motorhome parking has a space guarantee for all our visitors. Should the marked 32 places be occupied, we will arrange an alternative place within the many toll roads along the watercourse.
