3 kmFalkeriset is one of the most popular family hikes in the Rauland region. Thanks to the beautiful stone steps meticulously laid by Sherpa teams from Nepal, the trail is both durable and easy to navigate. The hike leads you from the mountain birch forest up to a spectacular viewpoint on the high plateau, offering panoramic vistas of the Hardangervidda mountain plain and the majestic Gaustatoppen.
