HIking to Stubbekollen

About

Stubbekollen is a great and accessible hiking destination situated on the border between Siljan and Larvik municipalities. This short and easy summit hike is perfect for the whole family, including younger hikers.

Route Description

• Starting Point: From the parking area at Viddaseter, head north along the trail.
• The Climb: The terrain rises steadily for the first 20–30 minutes.
• Toward the Summit: After completing the main incline, turn east to reach the top of Stubbekollen.
• Return: Follow the same trail back to the parking lot.

How to Get There (Access & Parking)

• Directions: Drive along County Road 32 (Fv32) between Siljan and Vindfjelltunet, then turn toward Viddaseter.
• Toll Road: Drive approximately 8 km along the toll road until you reach the parking lot at Viddaseter.
• Parking: Ample parking space available at the trailhead.
