Damstua by Gorningen has been restored by a group of pensioners from Austad / Kiste, and is run by the team. The interior has been restored to the original, with a timber wall visible. Picture montages from floating and the social organization in forests and land show important 20th century history from Siljan.
Rental of Damstua
The living room can be rented by interested parties, and can accommodate up to 15-16 people. Suitable for smaller groups. The atmosphere is distinctive and intimate.
Access
Take off towards Kvelde from national road 32, follow the road down towards Kvelde, after about 5 km after Siljanhjort turn left.
