Would you like to celebrate Norway’s Constitution Day in a truly unique and unforgettable way? 🎉

Experience May 17th with flags, mountains, and a sense of community in the spectacular surroundings of Gaustatoppen.

Telemark’s highest peak offers views over one-sixth of Norway—and on this special day, we fill the mountain with authentic Constitution Day spirit. Up here, you truly feel just how beautiful our country is 🙌

Program:

🎿 11:00 AM – We meet at the winter parking area at Svineroi, strap on skis or snowshoes, and set off towards the summit with flags in our backpacks.

🎤 2:00 PM – Songs and speeches outside Gaustatoppen Tourist Cabin.

🍽️ Food with a view
At the cabin, we serve traditional sour cream porridge with cured ham, hot dogs, toast, waffles, homemade cakes, hot chocolate, coffee, and cold drinks. Enjoy the taste of tradition with a panoramic view.

🚞 Take the Gaustabanen railway
Prefer not to hike? The Gaustabanen runs all day and takes you safely to the top.
