The Hardangervidda National Park Centre has received several international awards for the exhibition ( EDAwards 2014, German Design Awards 2016).

The exhibition includes 6 sections:

An introductory meeting - taking the visitor on a tour of the 4 seasons with the reindeer.

A historical section - about the origins of the wild reindeer, its roaming patterns, and its relationship to humans.

A scientific section - that covers the management and research connected to the wild reindeer on the mountain plateau.

A "red-light" section - presenting the various challenges and threats facing the wild reindeer today such as the loss of space, disturbances, increase in traffic, etc.

A reflective section - where the visitor can reflect upon various scenarios connected to the wild reindeer and Hardangervidda.

In addition to the exhibition, the Hardangervidda National Park Centre offers an intranet library on the Hardangervidda National Park, cinema and café as well as outdoor activities.
