Herborg Kråkevik is one of Norway’s most cherished artists, renowned as a singer, actor, and performer. For years, she has captivated audiences with her musical interpretations, cabarets, and album releases. Her album Kråkeviks songbok (2000)—featuring her personal interpretations of famous Norwegian songs—was a massive hit with the public and earned her, among other honors, the "Spellemann of the Year" award.
At Vemork, the audience will experience Kråkevik in a truly unique setting. The historic machine hall—part of the Norwegian Industrial Workers Museum and the Rjukan-Notodden Industrial Heritage Site (a UNESCO World Heritage site)—provides the backdrop for an evening where music, history, and the spirit of the pre-Christmas season come together.
The repertoire includes highlights from Kråkeviks songbok, Edith og eg, and Herborgs verden, as well as selected songs from the recent season of the TV 2 show "Hver gang vi møtes"—alongside classic Christmas carols perfect for the season.
