Conveniently located within easy driving distance from the southern coast – from Kristiansand to Tønsberg – Gautefall offers everything you need for a perfect winter getaway, from beginner-friendly slopes to challenging runs, great food, après-ski and fun activities for all ages.
Gautefall Ski Resort is open daily during the Christmas holidays from 20 December 2025 to 4 January 2026, as well as during the winter holiday weeks 7, 8, and 9, and throughout the Easter holidays.
Outside these periods, the resort is open Friday to Sunday.
In recent years, Gautefall Ski Resort has focused on becoming a complete, family-friendly ski destination, reflected in both its facilities and atmosphere.
Gautefall is the ideal choice for families with children. The two conveyor belts are designed for beginners and young skiers, making it easy for kids to learn and have fun in safe surroundings.
Every week during the winter season, we also host a kids’ disco – a highlight for the little ones.
