Lifjelltunet is a family-friendly cottage village with 50 cottages located at the foot of the mountain with great views of the Mid-Telemark region. This location makes Lifjelltunet a perfect starting point for both hiking and skiing in the mountains or trips in the Mid-Telemark region.
The "mountain shop" is a service building and consists of a reception with a kiosk / shop where you can buy a selection of food, toiletries and kiosk goods. There is internet access, washer / dryer and sauna in the service building. In addition, there is internet access in many of the cabins (but not in all the cabins). Those who rent have access to our gym Fjellsvetten.
There are 4 different cabin categories at Lifjelltunet. You can choose whether you want to rent a cottage with 2 or 3 bedrooms - with a high or normal standard. Great mountain terrain with varied hiking opportunities right outside the door!
Lifjelltunet is a good starting point for cycling in the district and is part of the corporate network «Bicycle in Telemark». The cabins have a porch / storage room for bicycle storage, a shared bicycle wash and storage room for storage. Here you can also perform washing or maintenance of a bicycle. In addition, you will find a small selection of hoses and patchwork.
Employees at Lifjelltunet are helpful with cycling routes and maps for the district.
