Canvas Telemark

About

One of Norway’s most exciting travel destinations? At Canvas Hotel Telemark you can experience glamping in luxurious yurt tents, incredible scenery, mountain biking at its very best, unforgettable camping life and fantastic food.

In 2010, Jan Fasting built a tent hotel far out in the wildderness in Telemark. Nine years and 10,000 hours of working hours later, the guests flow to get a tour experience one does not get elsewhere.

Last year the camp got a big upgrade with a huge lounge-yurt with 5 meters up to the roof with hanging fireplace, toilet in all tents and a “Maldives dock” with its own fire place out in the small lake.

Canvas is like a high-end African safari camp, but pitched in a Norwegian wilderness. There is no great game to be seen, but stunning track cycling (great walks too!), on fantastic trails through the... Read full review
