Canvas Telemark is the world's roughest wilderness hotel with its luxurious yurt tents, magnificent nature, unforgettable camp life and fantastic food. There is little that can be compared to a stay at Canvas Telemark.
In 2010, Jan Fasting built a tent hotel deep in the wilderness in Telemark. Nine years and 10,000 working hours later, guests flock to get a tour experience that cannot be found anywhere else.
A tailor-made experience for you
Canvas Hotel Telemark is not like other hotels. Canvas Telemark is an oasis in the middle of the wilderness, 2 km from the nearest motorway, and 7 km from the nearest settlement. It is a place to enjoy the magnificent nature that inner Telemark can offer, on foot, with a fishing rod and canoe, or most preferably with a trail bike.
Lounge tent and Maldives jetty
In recent years, the camp has received a major upgrade with a huge lounge-yurt with 5-meters to the ceiling with a hanging fireplace, toilets in all tents and a "Maldivene jetty" with its own bonfire outside in the pond.
