If you like inland fishing, you will find over 80 fishing lakes in the municipality and here you can enjoy quiet and peaceful days with the fishing rod.

There are great opportunities to spend the night outside in nature, either in a tent or in a hammock when you wander around the hiking trails in Siljan.

You will find many bathing spots and Gorningen and Øverbøjenna are popular places to swim. If you like paddling, we recommend a canoe trip down the Siljanelva towards Farris.

In winter, Viddaseter is a popular starting point for those who like to go cross-country skiing, here you will find groomed trails and nice ski areas.
