Siljudalen is a unique retreat center and a vibrant meeting place for nature, stillness, and community, centrally located in the scenic region of Telemark, Norway. This old farm has been in the family since 1937, and in 2016, Tone and Eivind took over to develop it into a place where you can land and listen in sync with nature’s rhythm.
The heart of Siljudalen is the Yoga Barn (Yogalåven). This dedicated space is created for:
Yoga: Explore a practice that provides both strength and rest.
Meditation: Find deeper presence and peace.
Retreats: Experience holistic stays focusing on self-care and deepening your practice.
The valley opens up to majestic mountains and forests, providing a perfect backdrop for meeting yourself.
We place great emphasis on the culinary experience at Siljudalen. Our meals are:
The Rhythm of the Seasons in Siljudalen
The experience at Siljudalen follows nature's own shifts. Each season offers a new opportunity for personal growth and presence:
Spring: Encounter the sprouts of life and new energy.
Summer: Enjoy the valley's lushness and long days.
Autumn: Enter a time for deepening and reflection.
We wish for the experience to stay with you—as memories, breath, and lasting peace.
Welcome to Siljudalen – a place to bloom at your own pace. We always wait with open arms.
