This is a very nice marked path from Grasmyr to Rognsåsen. The trip is about 2.7 km and takes about 1 hour each way. This trip is a connection to the coastal path that goes from Stathelle to Fossing. It can also be combined to the trail “Stokkevannet rundt”, Jypleviktangen and Sandvika.
Nice trail for the whole family. Rognsåsen has several beautiful viewpoints and for those who like to camp outside, it is ideal for those with hammocks.
At the far end of Rognsåsen it is steep, so watch out for the children.
From here you can also walk down the path to Rognstranda Camping and continue along the coastal path south to Åby and Valle.
*From the coastal path you go north on a nice and flat path / tractor road. The trail crosses the freeway (Attention!) Before continuing on a straight path through the forest. A couple of places there are nice views west of Bamble. After just over 2km there is a trail crossing. Turn left after 200 m to the trail "Stokkevannet rundt". Turn right after 500 m to the parking lot at Bamble videregående skole.
