At Haukeli, you will find a total of 65 km of groomed cross-country skiing trails, perfect for both relaxing family trips and intense training sessions. Our skilled trail groomers are up early to ensure optimal track conditions for you!
Whether you prefer sheltered forest trails or challenging high-mountain terrain, Haukelifjell has something for you. The trail network is prepared for both classic and skate skiing (freestyle).
The most extensive trail network is located on the west side of the E134 highway, between Tyrvelid and Botn, as well as further inland towards Fossen and Åmlinuten. Here, you can choose from a variety of different loops.
Want to head up into the heights? The high-mountain trails start directly from the ski center and from the top of the Haukeli lift (T-bar), heading in the direction of Haukeliseter.
Important information: Out of consideration for the wild reindeer migration routes, machine grooming is not permitted all the way to Haukeliseter. The machine-groomed track therefore stops at the top of Kreklingdyrskar, but the route is marked further with stakes (trail markers).
Down in the valley center, you will find a beautiful and varied forest terrain with well-groomed trails. These are located mainly south of the Kjela river and offer great challenges for skiers of all levels.
To get the most out of the skiing conditions, we recommend checking the updated trail reports before putting on your skis.
