A folk-gourmet restaurant
The two chef founders Lars Ludvig & Thor Ingo want Jacob & Gabriel to be a "folk-gourmet restaurant". Local ingredients, good tastes, knowledge and pride are at the heart of cooking. Here you can be served today's home cooking or immerse yourself completely in a 7-course menu.
Exciting crossover dishes and classic dishes
The team at Jacob & Gabriel are playful in style. Here you will experience a good atmosphere and be served exciting crossover dishes and classic dishes with fresh local ingredients in stylish and urban surroundings.
- Good food takes a long time, says chef Matheus. Therefore, the team is happy to turn around from early morning to prepare the food.
You can choose up to a 7-course dinner or you can choose from the a la carte menu. The menu is updated according to season and access.
Bar with a large selection
The restaurant has no obligation to eat, but they have all the rights. The restaurant's bar focuses on variations of gin & tonic - and a large selection of wine by the glass.
History
Jacob & Gabriel opened its doors for the first time in 2010. At that time, the restaurant was located on Langbryggene in Skien. In October 2017, they moved to new, beautiful premises at the shopping center Arkaden in the center of Skien.
