Skiens Art Association is a membership organisation. It is showing exhibitions and arranging other cultural events based on visual art.
The art association is run by an employed manager and some voluntary work amongst the members. There is put up about 6 exhibitions per year, 2 of those are annual and show local art. Those are called Telemarksutstillingen and Sørlandsutstillingen. Skiens Art Association shows mainly Norwegian art.
