  1. Kragerø Town
    Many things to see, many things to do! A summer paradise located far south in Telemark with a distance of 194 km to Oslo and 145 km to Kristiansand.
  2. The Coastal Path
    The coastal path is a great opportunity to experience Norway's beautiful nature on foot. In Kragerø, the coastal path runs from the border of Bamble in the northeast to Risør's southern border and is 42 km in total. The trail is divided into three distances through Kragerø: Fossing - Helle, Helle - Kragerø and Kragerø (Stabbestad) - Ellingsvika.
  3. The Art City Kragerø
    Kragerø is referred to as "The gem among coastal cities" of Edvard Munch, Norway's most famous artist of all time. Kragerø has attracted and inspired many artists through a long time! Get inspired, you too!
  4. Geo Norvegica Geopark
    is Scandinavia's first UNESCO certified geopark. The geopark is located in Telemark and Vestfold counties, and is also including the municipality of Kragerø. In December 2016 the Jomfruland National Park was established! WATCH VIDEO!

    Did you know that some of Munch's most famous works are painted in Kragerø? Take a walk in Munch's footsteps on your own (or with a licensed guide) through the streets of Kragerø and visit the places where he found inspiration for his art.

    Experience Kragerø´s beautiful archipelago with "Kragerø Fjordbåtselskap", which is carrying passengers, vehicles and goods in the large archipelago by ferry and express boat all year round!
  3. Easter swim 2019
    The traditional Easter Swim, arranged every Easter Eve, is when the toughest of the tough plunge into the fjord and open the swimming and tourist- season. Over several thousand people visit our coastal town and cheer for the over 100 tough fjord-jumpers. What about joining this big party you too?
  4. Blooming of the anemones in spring!
    Experience the blooming of the wood anemones at the island Jomfruland outside Kragerø in spring! A long white carpet of these flowers covers the 9 km long island in April/May.
