The Sea Serpent Tower (Sjøormtårnet) at Bjørgeøyane in Seljord was opened on October 18, 2011.
The tower is built of wood and stands 17 meters tall, with three viewing platforms. Its design allows light to shine out in the evening, making the tower appear like a glowing periscope in the landscape after dark.
The path leading out to the tower is constructed of wooden walkways built on piles through the wetland. Along the trail, there are benches where you can sit and rest.
