About

A short stroll from the ferry port at Stabbestad you will find the beautiful free area Vestre Stabbestad.
Pack with you what ever you need to enjoy a delicious summer day and set the course here, either on foot or by boat and dock at the quay area. Sit down on one of the picnic benches or take advantage of the big, beautiful lawn and enjoy yourself in the sun. When the sun is at its highest, you can cool off from the quay area with a bathing staircase and diving board, or stroll into the delicious waters from the beautiful sandy beach. If you bring your fishing rod, the area also offers good fishing possibilities, and if you are lucky you may have dinner ready before leaving. Here you will also find basic facilities such as a toilet.

The road down is easy to walk as there is a car / forest road all the way down, from the ferry port, you only follow the road upwards and turn right at the sign to Vestre Stabbestad.
