The restaurant uses ingredients from the local community
The kitchen has a strong focus on fish and shellfish. Guests like to come early to enjoy a whole evening on Langøya. A multi-course dinner where you choose freely from the à la carte menu. Chef Gilberto Nunes and his team are passionate about giving guests a wonderful dining experience that they take with them as a fond memory. There is a lot of effort and love behind the flavors that are created in the kitchen of Langøya Hovedgård. Among the signature dishes, the fish soup has already become a favorite. A whole evening with food, drink and warm service becomes a total summer idyll!

What can you do on Langøya
You can walk on the coastal path, a nice circular trail that runs the entire length of the island from north to south. At the southern end is Langøytangen Lighthouse towards the Skagerak. At the north end and in the middle of the island are three sandy beaches; you will always find a beach sheltered from the wind on Langøya! In summer there are grazing animals, cows graze in demarcated areas.
The shuttle boat and piers are unfortunately not suitable for wheelchair users as of today.
