About

Welcome to this year's Kunstsveiven, the annual summer exhibition in the beautiful Rjukan Baptist Church – a church on the UNESCO World Heritage List, in the middle of a city that itself is part of the World Heritage.

This is a unique opportunity to experience art in a historic space, surrounded by mountains, industrial history and cultural heritage. Rjukan is a melting pot of nature, history, culture and art – and Kunstsveiven is one of the highlights of the summer.

 Closing day – mountain hike and party
On Saturday 26th of July, Kunstsveiven will conclude with the traditional mountain hike to Gaustatoppen and an atmospheric evening in the Baptist Church – in collaboration with Bjørg Thorhallsdottir. (Own event.)
