The swimming area is set in picturesque surroundings and has good facilities for an enjoyable bathing experience:

• Swimming Area: A nice lawn (grass field) and a small sandy beach.
• Swimming Jetty: Access to the water is provided via a sturdy swimming jetty/pier.
• Seating and Picnic: Tables and benches are available for picnicking and relaxation.

Falkumlia Swimming Area is easy to get to by both car and bus, although it is located slightly outside the town centre.

• Parking Area: Public parking is available near the Skagerak Arena (Odd soccer stadium).
• Driving Directions: To reach the swimming area, follow Falkumlia (street) to the end, then take Ishusbakken down to the Falkumelva river. Visitors are directed to the parking spaces near the stadium area (about a 5-minute walk away).

Public Transport

Bus Connection: There is a bus service from Skien centre to the Skagerak Arena area. The bus stop is only about a 5-minute walk from the swimming area.
