About

The church was a gift from Prime minister Gunnar Knutsen and his wife.

Architect Henrik Nilsen, who took the English country church as his model, designed the beautiful stone church. The Church has beautiful stained glass created by Emanuel Vigeland in 1918 - 1919, illustrating various passages from the Bible.
