Borgestad Church was built in 1907 as a gift from the former Prime Minister Gunnar Knudsen and his wife, Sofie Cappelen Knudsen.

Designed with the vision of creating a warm and welcoming sanctuary, the English village church served as its main architectural model. This gives the building its distinct, inviting, and traditional character inside and out.

Stained Glass Masterpieces by Emanuel Vigeland

One of the highlight features of the church is its stunning stained glass windows, created by the renowned Norwegian artist Emanuel Vigeland between 1918 and 1919.
