At the outermost part of Langangsfjorden, east of Arøya, you will find Stokkøya.
After a short walk from the ferry dock, you will discover a fantastic family-friendly beach. Here, there is a large grassy area with a playground for children and opportunities to pitch tents. If you wish to camp, you can contact the caretaker who resides on-site.

Just south of the island, you will find Låven, a small islet known worldwide for its rare minerals called Låvenitt.

During the summer, you can reach the island by boarding the Helgeroafergene, which stops on its regular route between Helgeroa and Langesund. This gives you the opportunity to explore both the island and the Låvenitt islet, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and beach before continuing your journey with the ferry.
