Seljord Folk High School – flexible facilities for small and large gatherings

Seljord Folkehøgskule offers complete and professional facilities for meetings, courses, seminars, events, camps, and celebrations.

Set in peaceful, nature-rich surroundings, we provide ideal conditions for both small and large gatherings—with flexible solutions that can be tailored to your needs, purpose, and desired level of service.

Here, you’ll find a great environment for focus, professional development, and social interaction, combined with modern equipment and spacious outdoor areas. Between sessions, you can make use of the school grounds, go hiking in the surrounding area, or enjoy activities on-site. We are also happy to suggest local experiences that can be incorporated into your program.

Our facilities include:

• Meeting rooms, classrooms, and group rooms with AV equipment
• Auditorium with projector, sound system, and grand piano
• Gymnasium with stage and projector
• Wireless internet across the entire campus
• Large outdoor areas and fields for activities
• Workshops, music rooms, and activity rooms
• Free parking and easy access

Accommodation

• Six dormitory buildings with shared lounge, kitchenette, and bathrooms
• 84 single rooms, 4 double rooms, and 3 apartments with private bathrooms
• Extra mattresses available if needed

Food and catering

The school has its own well-equipped large-scale kitchen and a spacious dining hall with capacity for serving over 300 people. We offer catering tailored to your needs—from simple meals to full-service dining.

Our kitchen also provides catering for both small and large groups, either as part of your stay or as takeaway.
