You can easily travel to Seljord by car, bus or train. Seljord is located just off the E134, which runs from Oslo to Haugesund / Bergen and is being trafficked by Haukeliekspressen. You can take trains to Bø in Telemark from Oslo, Kristiansand and Stavanger with Sørlandsbanen, and from there there are good connections to Seljord. We encourage our visitors to choose environmentally friendly travel options whenever possible. Seljord is accessible by public transport, and many attractions in and around the town centre are within walking or cycling distance.
Public Transport
You can travel to Seljord by bus from several destinations in Norway. If travelling by train, you can take the train to Bø or Notodden and continue by bus to Seljord.

Walking and Cycling
Many of Seljord's attractions, restaurants, shops and accommodation are located within walking distance of each other. Walking or cycling is a great way to experience the area while reducing your environmental impact.

- Choose an electric vehicle if available.
