  1. The church was built in the romanesque style at some time in the 12th century. It is dedicated to St Olav. On the north-west corner of the church a face has been hewn. This, according to legend, represents the saint king.
  2. Into the Landscape Three installations based on local storytellings and the landscape they are placed in.
  3. Skorve is one of the highest mountains in Seljord, with two peaks: Mount Gøysen (1,370 m) and Mount Nordnibba (1,365 m). During WWII two planes crashed into the mountain.

  5. In the midst of Telemark, which has always been associated with fairy tales, folksongs and fantasy, lies Seljordsvannet (Seljord Lake) and it’s great secret. What is really hiding under the blue, friendly surface?
  6. The tale of the serpent in the seljord Lake have been told since 1750 and have been passed down in spoken form, being only partly written down. You can look for the serpent from the sea ​​serpent tower on Bjørgeøyan.
  7. In Bjørgefjell you can choose from a number of different footpaths through the cultural landscape. The lower part of the route is graded easy to medium, while the final ascent to the top of Mount Bjørgefjell is steeper and more challenging. There are numerous idyllic spots along the way where you can stop, rest and enjoy the panoramic views of Lake Seljordsvatnet.
  8. Gallery Nutheim was opened in 1978. The Gallery exhibits art by local artists. Nutheim Guest House accommodates bus groups and other groups for meals and a look through the art gallery.
