Holm Landhandel has been revived! The third season is underway. There was trade and bustle here for 50 years until it ceased in 1980. Now the building has been revitalized, completely renovated, and the country store is back in business.
Thanks to funds from the Sogeven project, which is the experience route outside the Gvammen-Århus tunnel on the E134 in the heart of Telemark.
Sale of Local Products
The concept is local products with local ties to the area/Telemark, meaning original and short-travelled with great variety. Here you will find dairy products, forged knife blades, jewelry, gifts, local food... The selection is vast, and the craftsmanship is superb.
Café
In addition, we have a small café with delicious, always fresh waffles and coffee, among other things. You can sit inside by the fireplace on a rainy day or enjoy the cultural landscape view when the sun is shining.
Activities Nearby
We recommend strolls around Egdrufossen and Hjartdal village mill, walks in the cultural landscape, cycling route suggestions, and mountain hikes if you wish.
Opening Hours for Holm Landhandel
Holm Landhandel is open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 12 PM to 6 PM from the end of May to the end of August.
Visits Outside Opening Hours and Rental of Premises
It is possible to make a private appointment for groups or other types of visits or rent the premises. We are a small and intimate venue, suitable for small groups, but can accommodate 30-40 people for special occasions.
Holm Landhandel is Run by Volunteers from Telegardar
