Comfort Hotel Porsgrunn is a new, modern and urban city hotel. The hotel opened in 2019 and is located right in the heart of Porsgrunn city with only 50 meters to train, bus and taxi. Staying here you have panoramic views of the city and river, and within easy reach of restaurants and shopping, cultural centres and the great riverside promenade.

Rooms – everything from standard rooms to unique top suites
The hotel offers 134 rooms and 5 unique themed suites, approximately 45 sqm large; such as SportsSuite, UrbanFriends and GirlPower. If you book the top suite, "The Eye" you'll be half the body out of the hotel and you can feel the sense of freedom you get 8 floors above the ground. It has a private rooftop terrace where the sunset can be enjoyed.

Breakfast is included in the price
In the large common areas on the 1st floor, breakfast is served, simple organic food that is good and good for both body and environment. The focus is green and fresh, and unnecessary abundance is omitted.

Self-service check-in
You can check in to the hotel's smart self-service check-ins, or via your mobile if you prefer. If you wish, you can check out a little later than usual at an extra cost and at available capacity. On Sundays, guests can keep the room free of charge until 18:00. Just remember to let me know at the front desk about it. 

Fitness room at the top of the hotel
What an experience to train here! At the top of the hotel is the fitness room and here you can run on the mill and have a view all the way to the neighboring town of Skien in the north!

Of course, the whole hotel has free wifi!

Bring your dog or cat
If you are travelling with your dog or cat, they are also welcome to stay overnight. It costs NOK 250 extra per stay. Just be sure to let us know at the time of booking so that the hotel finds a suitable room for you and your pet.

Public areas
The hotel lobby has a 24-hour barception (bar and reception) and guests can enjoy light meals, snacks, coffee, beer and other good drinks. On the first floor you will also find the Champions League room with a large TV screen, which you can book to watch your favourite team fight for the win.

The hotel has 6 modern meeting rooms perfect for holding meetings, seminars or courses.
