Where can you find Solstua?
Solstua is located on Lifjell in Bø in the middle of the cultural county of Telemark, and for over 100 years tourists and guests have found recreation in the beautiful high mountain nature that surrounds Solstua. In spring, summer and autumn, there are miles of marked hiking trails that can take you up to 1,300 meters above sea level. In winter, you'll find great groomed trails whether you want to go in cozy forest trails or more demanding trails on Snaufjellet. It is also only 500 meters to Lifjell Skicenter.

Bø is located in Midt-Telemark municipality and, as the name suggests, is roughly in the middle of Telemark, with easy access roads from all sides. From Bø and Lifjell it is a short distance to most attractions in Telemark.

Lifjell is located in the middle of the cultural county of Telemark and for over 100 years tourists and guests have found recreation in the beautiful high mountain nature that surrounds Solstua. Miles of marked trails can take you up to 1,400 m above sea level. You are on the roof of Telemark and have a view all the way to Skagerak. Lifjell is the closest high mountain plateau when you arrive by boat from Denmark.
