Bergsbygda Beach is a popular and idyllic swimming gem located in the beautiful Eidangerfjord in Porsgrunn. This is the perfect destination for the whole family, combining a large, inviting sandy beach with exciting smooth rocks and green areas for sunbathing and play.
The beach is located in Bergsbygda, approximately 9 km from Porsgrunn city centre. It is easily accessible by bicycle and car, and public parking is available at the top of the hill.
To ensure safety, the paved road leading down to the beach is closed with a barrier. However, guests with mobility challenges are granted permission to drive down to the beach by obtaining a key to the barrier. The key can be collected at Porsgrunn Municipality's Service Centre, tel. +47 35 54 70 00.
The beach provides an adapted toilet and a separate wheelchair ramp for easy access.
