MS Fram in Vrådal is an old timbers tugboat, which was launched on the lakes Nisser and Vråvatn 100 years ago. She was put at rest in the early 70’s and in the late 80’s the boat was restored and put into passenger traffic. We offer a roundtrip in beautiful surroundings on the lake Nisser. A local captain guides you from Vrådal and through the locks of Småstraum (One of Northern-Europe highest situated locks). The locks are run the old fashion way; by hand. The M/S Fram sails on schedule from May to October. The boat can be chartered for special occasions. NB! Cash payment only.
