The Z-Museum in Treungen has many thematic exhibitions with objects from different eras. Join a journey to the time of our ancestors through over 50 exhibitions presented with impressive breadth and details.

A visit to the Z-Museum is both surprising and educational
Did you know, for example, that the tsar of the old Russian Empire had eight generals? Each of these received a pocket watch in solid gold. It was Swiss made and produced only for the Tsar. It had day, date and moon phase in Russian. One general escaped during the revolution to Bø in Telemark. The only known of the eight clocks can be seen at the Z-Museum with the whole dramatic story as a backdrop.

The exhibitions are renewed every year. That is why many of the visitors come back year after year.

Here you will find exhibitions with rare cars and vehicles, the history of the telephone, hats and hats throughout history, an old country store, billboards, sewing machines and textile production, printing history, vintage bicycles, cameras, oriental rugs, toys from the old days and much more. The collections include thousands of rare objects presented in the various departments. Here you can walk around for hours and learn about the past and history.

Own museum shop at Z-Museum with collectibles and gift tips
In the museum's own shop you can buy souvenirs, rare and old toys, pedal cars, pedal cars, car models, books and pictures.

HC-friendly museum with café and large parking
Free parking on the outside. The museum is located on a plain in a large hall with universal design, easily accessible by wheelchair. In the café you will find a rich selection of hot and cold food, cakes and drinks.

How to get to Z-Museum
The Z-Museum is located at the southern end of Lake Nisser. The trip here goes through scenic areas. Within a driving distance of approx. 90 minutes are both Skien, Arendal and Bø in Telemark. Popular holiday destinations in the immediate area are Nissedal, Gautefall and Vrådal.
