Brattrein Hotel is a venerable hotel surrounded by its own park, just outside the center of Notodden. The building dates back to 1924, and much of Notodden's industrial history still resides within its walls. Since 2015, the Rjukan-Notodden industrial heritage has been part of UNESCO's World Heritage List, and much of this heritage is located in the Hydroparken, which is clearly visible from the hotel.
