About

Just a five-minute boat ride from Langesund lies a place that feels miles away from everyday life. At Langøya Hovedgård (The Langøya Manor), it’s all about long summer days, great vibes, and endless sea views. This is the ultimate summer paradise where you can completely unwind and slow down.

We offer delicious food, refreshing drinks, sunshine, and authentic coastal charm. The only thing we don’t have is a rush.

The Space & Accommodations

Want to extend your island experience? Check in for the night at our historic manor.

  • Our Rooms: Cozy double and triple rooms with a courtyard view—ideal for couples, small families, or groups of friends.
  • The Experience: Wake up and start your day with a delicious breakfast, take a morning dip straight from the pier, or visit one of the beautiful sandy beaches on the island. A stroll to the scenic Langøya Lighthouse is also highly recommended.

Restaurant & Summer Events

As the only dining spot on the island, we invite you to a casual and cozy dining experience in historic surroundings.

  • On the Menu: Summer classics like Moules Frites, Øys Skagen (shrimp toast), our famous fish soup, and much more.
  • Drop-in Only: We do not take table reservations—just show up as you are and find a spot in the sun. If there is a short wait, there is no better place to enjoy it than with a cold drink and a stunning sea view.
  • Concerts & Events: We host live concerts and themed events throughout the summer season.
  • Note for concert-goers: The kitchen closes earlier on event days. Since we operate on a drop-in basis, we recommend arriving early to secure a good spot and enjoy a meal before the show.
