Blefjell Camping is a cozy, quiet family campsite located in the heart of Telemark, Norway, idyllically situated by the lake Sandvatn in Hovin, Tinn municipality. We are the perfect base for hiking in Blefjell and experiencing nature adventures in the region. The campsite offers accommodation in cabins and has pitches for motorhomes, caravans, and tents.

Accommodation at Blefjell Camping

Cabin Rentals – Available Year-Round

We have 8 rental cabins that accommodate 2–4 people. This is ideal for those seeking a comfortable cabin holiday in Telemark.

  • Cabin Amenities: Cooking plates, cooking equipment, a refrigerator, and bedding are included.
  • Added Comfort: 6 of the cabins are equipped with a fireplace/wood stove for a cozy atmosphere on cooler evenings.
  • Availability: The cabins can be rented all year, perfect for winter stays in the Blefjell area.

Camping Pitches – Motorhomes, Caravans, and Tents

Our family-friendly campsite offers excellent areas for:

  • Motorhomes/RVs: Pitches for motorhomes.
  • Caravans: Pitches for caravans.
  • Tents: Designated tent pitches.
  • Winter Closure: The campsite is closed for motorhomes/caravans/tents during the winter, but cabin rentals remain available.

Facilities and Services

We ensure your stay is comfortable with modern and practical facilities:

  • Sanitary Facilities: Showers and toilets are located in a dedicated building close to the cabins.
  • Kitchen: A shared kitchen area for washing up is available in the sanitary building.
  • Laundry: A washing machine and dryer are available for rent (for a fee).
  • Internet: Free Wi-Fi is provided for all our guests throughout the campsite.

Activities at the Campsite and Sandvatn Lake

  • Swimming: Fantastic swimming opportunities in Sandvatn (the water is often warm!).
  • Water Activities: Boat and canoe rentals (in season) are available for fishing and trips.
  • Fishing: Good fishing opportunities in Sandvatn.
  • Play Area: A dedicated playground and a nice forest area for children.
