If you want a hike with a view, we recommend Eikerskaptop Lookout, with magnificent views over the city. Or Kåfjell hill. Kåfjell Hill is Norway's first Rainbow Trail and was opened in June 2021.

If you want a easy hike, the hiking trail around Lake Tinnemyra is recommended. Each round is 2km long, it is lit when it gets dark, and it is adapted for the disabled.

The folk trail is a great walk along the river Heddøla. The terrain is flat and easy to walk, and the path is laid out on moraine gravel from the ice age.

A two km long hiking trail along Heddalsvannet has now been established as the Industrial Promenade.
