Notodden has several of Telemark's biggest attractions. See the country's largest stave church, visit the world heritage site and stop by our beautiful Book and Blueshus.

Rjukan-Notodden industrial heritage is on UNESCO's prestigious world heritage list. On this list, we are in good company with Bryggen in Bergen, the Pyramids in Egypt and the Great Wall of China. Feel free to start at the World Heritage Center, where you get a good starting point to experience and discover the World Heritage attractions.

Just outside the city center is Norway's largest stave church, Heddal Stave Church, the most beautiful of them all! Heddal Bygdetun is the stave church's nearest neighbor and is only a stone's throw away. Idyllic by Heddalsvannet you will find Bok & Blueshuset, Notodden's culture house. The house has a cinema, café and library.
