About

Season 22/23
Here you will find the opening hours for the winter 22/223

Gautefall ski center is an urban and state-of-the-art alpine center with a short distance along the entire coast from Kristiansand to Tønsberg.

The ski center
In recent years, the ski center has made a special effort to become a family-friendly destination, something that both the activities and the surroundings reflect. You will get 10 runs of all levels of difficulty, 1 chair lift (6-seater express lift), 1 ski lift and 2 roller ski slopes which have a total capacity of approx. 4,500 people per hour. The snow production facility is state-of-the-art and provides good conditions throughout the season.

Children's areas
The conveyor belts are specially adapted for the youngest alpine skiers, so that they too can enjoy the children's slopes.

Ski rental
At Gautefall ski center it is possible to rent complete equipment for alpine skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing as well as some telemark equipment. You can also rent a helmet, sling, sled, toboggan and goggles.

Ski school
The ski school at Gautefall ski center can offer a personal instructor for 50 min or 90 min. It is also possible to order group lessons by appointment (min. 5 people). You can get instruction in alpine or snowboarding.

Afterski
Here you will find Telemark's newest and largest Afterski. With music and atmosphere, it feels like you are in the Alps.

Lift cards
Lift cards are purchased online

Road directions
The easiest way to get to Gautefall is by car. Parking for the cars at all the apartments, the Ski Lodge and the Ski Centre.

Had a nice day at the resort in Gautefall. 18 slopes, but five or so where closed due to lack of snow. Great variety of easier slopes. A few bit more demanding slopes. They were a thrill. Excellent... Read full review
