About

The Old Tuddal Road runs through countryside that combines forest with an old cultural landscape, and you can choose between two old transport arteries that were used as a cart track and a road until 1954. As a result, part of the route is ideal if you are pushing a pram or if you want to cycle. THE CIRCUIT STARTS from the nursery school in Sauland and is marked and signposted. One option is to take the old Tuddal road up and the oldest Tuddal road back down again. You can also take a detour from the main circuit to the cotter’s farm at Dalen, making the walk a bit longer.
