About

Welcome to one of Norway's most beautiful campsites! With its unique location on the water's edge of lake Norsjø, part of the Telemark Canal, it defends its place as one of Norway's finest campsites. The campsite is only 20 minutes from Bø Sommarland and Norsjø Golf Club.

One of Norway's warmest places
Already in May, if the weather gods are kind, you can experience the idyll here. Through the Meteorological Institute, the area has become known as one of Norway's warmest places. First Camp Norsjø - Telemark is constantly evolving to satisfy guests' needs and become one of the best in Norway. The staff does what they can for the guests to thrive, so that they like visiting again.

Norsjø cabin
In the 'Norsjø cabins', you can enjoy your stay in beautiful surroundings, right next to all the facilities on the premises. Just a stone's throw away, you'll find a restaurant, beach, and playground. The cabin has one separate bedroom with a bunk bed that accommodates two people. In the shared living area, there's a sofa bed with room for two additional guests. The cabin features a fully equipped kitchenette with a cooktop, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, and coffee maker. It is also accessible for people with disabilities, with an extra-large bathroom including a shower and toilet. Outside the cabin, you can relax on a furnished balcony.

It's possible to bring a dog for an additional fee of 220 kr.

The cabin can also be rented during winter

Arctic Dome glamping tent
In July 2021, 2 Artic Dome glamping tents were set up with a beautiful view directly towards lake Norsjø. The glamping tents have a separate cladding of 130 m2 with a ladder straight out to the water. There is sleeping space for 4 people (double bed and sofa bed), incl. bed linen, towels and cleaning.

Check in and out on your own
You can easily check in and out on your own if there are no staff members between 09:00 and 16:00. At First Camp Norsjø, you will find a dedicated key-box where you can both collect and return your key during check-in and check-out.

Canal tour with MS Telemarken
In the period from 15 June to 15 August, you can join a lock cruise with MS Telemarken, which sails from Akkerhaugen pier up through the locks to Lunde. The boat has its own departures from First Camp Norsjø - Telemark.

Norsjø Cable Park and other facilities
The splendor of flowers and green lawns means that you will thrive extra well in the warm bay by lake Norsjø. Here there is an outdoor restaurant right on the water's edge, a nice beach, playground, mini golf, rental of canoes and treadmills and motorboats.

In addition, there is Norsjø Cable Park, a water ski run of 550 meters, where the whole family can try their hand at wakeboarding, water skiing and kneeling. If you feel driven enough, there are several jumps you can try. In 2014, First Camp Norsjø - Telemark arranged, among other things, the WC in wakeboarding.

Rental of Norsjø Cable Park
You can also rent the whole park for yourself and some friends if desired. Get in touch by email post@norsjo-ferieland.no or see the website norsjoferieland.no
