Want a break from busy life and enjoy a quiet night under the starts?
Book a stay at our hammock camp, with beautiful views over to Kragerø town, the sea and the surrounding islands. Here you can enjoy both sunrise and susnsets (when the weather allows) form the top of the mountain.
You will be sleeping amongst pine trees, and there is room for 5-6 hammocks. If you like, you can bring your own hammock, but we can also provide one for you. You will however need to bring your own sleeping bag.
We also offer a can of water, kettle, cooler, sleeping pad, toilet (in a shed, toilet is not connected to water) and charger for your phone. Bring your own food or you can grab a bite at Skåtøy cafe, Galleri Bak Fasaden or the bakery at Eidkilen or order from Catering Solutions (these are not open all year so check opening times beforehand).
The camp is about 500 metres from where the ferry docks. You can bring your car if you want to. The last part of the walk up to the camp is quite steep, so although it's not far you need to be in ok shape to visit the camp. It's also not suitable if you are afraid of heights.
The camp is the perfect base for visiting some of Skåtøys attractions.
