A small turn from The "Telemark road" you will find Handelslaget Café, a small and cozy cafe in the center of Vrådal with both indoor and outdoor dining. Handelslaget Café is known for its delicious food and cakes, but also for its espresso coffee and Italian ice cream. The vision of Espen and Freja, the hosts of the cafe, is to give you experiences for all senses and on all levels.
A pleasure for all the senses
In the pleasant surroundings of the cafe, or on the terrace with a view of the water and the mountain, you can enjoy good homemade food and cakes. The food and cakes are freshly made with organic ingredients of the best quality. The cafe also offers both Norwegian and Danish "smørbrød" and sandwiches, which are prepared fresh every day.
Guests usually stay for a long time and like to return. Some guests choose to stay for hours, where the silence is enjoyed with a book, knitting or with mindfulness. The cafe drivers are proud to have regulars from near and far, both young and old.
Many activities and events all year round
The hosts at Handelslaget Café want to be an active part of Vrådal all year round, therefore they also offer events such as konserts, quizzes, knitting cafe, senior cafe, have a special sale of children's clothes as well as a walking book shelf etc. There is always something new going on here all the time, so follow Handelslaget Café on FB and get exciting news.
