Did you know that the cabin where Sondre Norheim lived, is still found in the valley close to the Norwegian Ski Museum at Morgedal? You can hike from the museum up to the cabin and experience the view of the hills where Sondre founded modern skiing.
Each summer there are food festivals held around the county and many local farmers also sell their products at the popular “Farmers Day” arrangements. The largest food festival is Mersmak in Skien.
