The first playmobil museum in the world
Kragerø can now boast of being able to show the world's first Playmobil Museum.
Erik Skaarup from the coastal village of Kragerø has gathered playmobil toys since he was three years old and today he has millions of characters, and thus the world's largest collection of playmobil toys.Inhabitants and tourists in Kragerø can now admire his collection as he has opened the world's first playmobil museum in the centre of Kragerø. 76 engines are needed to operated the figures and the public are welcome to play with the toys.
The playmobil toys are depicting people, animals and things from different areas or times, for example, zoo, farm, police, hospitals, knights, space, circus and pirates and much more.
